**Essential Minimum 3-year diploma in midwifery after secondary school. Bachelor degree in Midwifery is desirable.**  
**ضروري: دبلوم لمدة 3 سنوات في القبالة بعد المدرسة الثانوية. يفضل الحصول على درجة البكالوريوس في القبالة.**

**Essential: valid work permit as midwife technician from Yemen medical council (in Sanaa) and desirable to have WP as midwife.**  
**ضروري: تصريح عمل صالح كفني قبالة من المجلس الطبي اليمني (في صنعاء) ويفضل الحصول على تصريح عمل كقابلة.**

**Experience:**  
**الخبرة:**

**Essential: 2 years previous experience as Midwife and desirable 1 year as supervisor.**  
**ضروري: خبرة سابقة لمدة سنتين كقابلة ويفضل سنة واحدة كمشرفة.**

**Desirable: previous experience with MSF or other NGOs.**

**Place of work: Abs District, Hajja governorate, Republic of Yemen.**  
**مكان العمل: مديرية عبس، محافظة حجة، جمهورية اليمن.**

**Level: 8.**  
**المستوى: 8.**

**Duration: 1 year fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. Subjected to a probationary period.**  
**المدة: عقد لمدة سنة واحدة مع إمكانية التمديد. يخضع لفترة تجريبية.**

**Main objectives:**  
**الأهداف الرئيسية:**

**Supervising the clinical activities and guaranteeing the quality of midwifery care in the department, according to MSF protocols, values, and universal hygiene standards in order to provide high-quality Mother and Child Health (MCH) care to the population.**  
**الإشراف على الأنشطة السريرية وضمان جودة الرعاية القبالية في القسم، وفقًا لبروتوكولات أطباء بلا حدود والقيم والمعايير العالمية للنظافة من أجل تقديم رعاية صحية عالية الجودة للأم والطفل (MCH) للسكان.**

**Main responsibilities and tasks:**  
**المسؤوليات والمهام الرئيسية:**

- **Supervising, supporting, and evaluating the team under his/her responsibility, particularly midwives, midwife assistants, and other related staff in her team such as cleaners. Planning and organizing their work (areas, days, absences, visits, holidays, etc.) and coaching them in their work with special focus on following all appropriate protocols and procedures.**  
  **الإشراف على الفريق ودعمه وتقييمه تحت مسؤوليته، وخاصة القابلات ومساعدي القابلات والموظفين الآخرين المرتبطين بفريقها مثل عمال النظافة. التخطيط وتنظيم عملهم (المناطق، الأيام، الغيابات، الزيارات، الإجازات، إلخ) وتوجيههم في عملهم مع التركيز الخاص على اتباع جميع البروتوكولات والإجراءات المناسبة.**

- **Ensuring teamwork and a professional relationship between maternity and other departments.**  
  **ضمان العمل الجماعي والعلاقة المهنية بين قسم الولادة والأقسام الأخرى.**

- **Supervising the clinical activities in all the maternity departments.**  
  **الإشراف على الأنشطة السريرية في جميع أقسام الولادة.**

- **Ensuring that the staff on duty knows, implements, and follows at all times the universal hygiene standards/precautions, bio-hazard prevention, and infection control.**  
  **ضمان أن يعرف الموظفون المناوبون وينفذون ويتبعون في جميع الأوقات معايير السلامة العالمية / الاحتياطات، والوقاية من المخاطر البيولوجية ومكافحة العدوى.**

- **Ensuring that all staff using medical devices are qualified and trained, cleaning and minor maintenance tasks are performed according to the protocols, and reporting any malfunction to the project biomedical service.**  
  **ضمان أن جميع الموظفين الذين يستخدمون الأجهزة الطبية مؤهلون ومدربون، ويتم تنظيفها وصيانة المهام البسيطة وفقًا للبروتوكولات، والإبلاغ عن أي خلل إلى خدمة الطب الحيوي بالمشروع.**

- **Being responsible for the department-related pharmacy activities (stock and consumption monitoring) as well as maintenance of the medical equipment.**  
  **تحمل المسؤولية عن الأنشطة المتعلقة بالصيدلة في القسم (مراقبة المخزون والاستهلاك) وكذلك صيانة المعدات الطبية.**

- **Being responsible for ensuring that all the administrative procedures.**  
  **تحمل المسؤولية عن ضمان جميع الإجراءات الإدارية.**

- **Ensure that the newborn babies are followed up correctly since delivery and until discharge, making sure all babies are receiving the vaccination at birth.**  
  **ضمان متابعة المواليد الجدد بشكل صحيح منذ الولادة وحتى الخروج، والتأكد من حصول جميع الأطفال على التطعيم عند الولادة.**


- **Responsible for all biomed equipment in her department.**  
  **مسؤولة عن جميع المعدات الطبية الحيوية في قسمها.**

- **Ensure all post c-sections patients are up appropriately reporting any change in the patients’ status.**  
  **ضمان المتابعة المناسبة لجميع المرضى بعد العمليات القيصرية والإبلاغ عن أي تغيير في حالة المرضى.**

- **Responsible for the pharmacy in her department.**  
  **مسؤولة عن الصيدلية في قسمها.**

- **After discharge, ensure the patients' files are classified.**  
  **بعد الخروج، ضمان تصنيف ملفات المرضى.**

- **Carry out supervision of staff in maternity in roster shifts.**  
  **الإشراف على الموظفين في قسم الولادة في نوبات الدوام.**
